Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Discussion by Ayline Olukman was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,376.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ayline Olukman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Girls in April 2012 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,118.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Discussion von Ayline Olukman wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.376,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ayline Olukman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Girls im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.118,30).
