Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Polychromie II R. median by Aurélie Nemours was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 14,375.00. Admittedly, works by Aurélie Nemours have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre - 1967 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 85,280.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Polychromie II R. median von Aurélie Nemours im Juni 2021 bei Christies in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 14.375,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aurélie Nemours auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1967 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 85.280,00.
