Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A footbridge in an Egyptian city by Augustus Osborne Lamplough was auctioned at Bonhams in London in February 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,323.43). Admittedly, works by Augustus Osborne Lamplough have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Arab On A Camel Surveying The Desert At Dusk in January 2015 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,477.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A footbridge in an Egyptian city von Augustus Osborne Lamplough kam im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.147,50 (€ 1.323,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Augustus Osborne Lamplough auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Arab On A Camel Surveying The Desert At Dusk im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.477,30).
