The work Femme tenant un bouquet et coiffée de fleurs bleues et blanches by Auguste Garnerey was sold in the Portrait Miniatures auction at Artcurial in June this year. It achieved a price of EUR 2,362.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Garnerey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An elegant family in a Neo-Gothic interior in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 74,959.08).

Die Arbeit Femme tenant un bouquet et coiffée de fleurs bleues et blanches von Auguste Garnerey wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Portrait Miniatures bei Artcurial versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.362,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Garnerey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An elegant family in a Neo-Gothic interior im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.850,00 (€ 74.959,08).
