Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,376.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Auguste Moreau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Amour Au Papillon, D'Après William Bouguereau in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 10,400.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.376,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Auguste Moreau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Amour Au Papillon, D'Après William Bouguereau im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.400,00.
