Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of a reading boy in a seaman uniform by August Hærning for DKK 1,100.00 (€ 147.75). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings and furniture (postponed) at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by August Hærning achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The house by the sea in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,615.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of a reading boy in a seaman uniform von August Hærning für DKK 1.100,00 (€ 147,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings and furniture (postponed) bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von August Hærning erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The house by the sea im Dezember 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.525,00 (€ 5.615,29).
