Despite a disappointment, a good price for August Jerndorff
In October 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Faraway Thoughts by August Jerndorff for USD 33,460.00 (€ 26,251.37). This price was achieved in the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Faraway Thoughts is the most expensive artwork by August Jerndorff that we have observed at auction so far.

Im Oktober 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Faraway Thoughts von August Jerndorff für USD 33.460,00 (€ 26.251,37) erwerben.
