Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Spiaggia a Portici by Attilio Pratella was auctioned at Il Ponte in December last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Attilio Pratella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Neve Al Vomero in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 42,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Spiaggia a Portici von Attilio Pratella im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.200,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Attilio Pratella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Neve Al Vomero im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.250,00.
