The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 822.50 (€ 1,308.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Aster R. C. Corbould have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work A day in the highlands was auctioned for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,750.32).
