Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
When the work Ritratto di ragazza by Arturo Rietti was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2017, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 150.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at EUR 450.00. Admittedly, works by Arturo Rietti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ritratto del pittore Achille Cattaneo in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 2,200.00.
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Ritratto di ragazza von Arturo Rietti im November 2017 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 150,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 450,00 mehr als dreimal so hoch. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arturo Rietti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ritratto del pittore Achille Cattaneo im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.200,00.
