Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Arturo Rietti could be acquired at Il Ponte in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Contadino toscano changed hands for EUR 300.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Arturo Rietti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ritratto del pittore Achille Cattaneo in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 2,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arturo Rietti konnte im Juni 2020 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Contadino toscano für EUR 300,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arturo Rietti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ritratto del pittore Achille Cattaneo im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.200,00.
