The price achieved of GBP 394.35 (€ 567.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Trevor Haddon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Day before the City Walls in Rabat in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,354.32).
