Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2003 Christies in London held the auction At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper, which included the work Portrait of a lady, bust-length, in a striped scarf, in a landscape by Arthur Royce Bradbury. The price achieved of GBP 352.50 (€ 459.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Royce Bradbury achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marigold in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 24,137.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, bust-length, in a striped scarf, in a landscape von Arthur Royce Bradbury zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 352,50 (€ 459,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Royce Bradbury erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marigold im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 24.137,47).
