Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cedric By Lett by Arthur Lett-Haines was sold in the Modern & Post-War British Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,109.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Arthur Lett-Haines have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July last year the work Italian Landscape was auctioned for GBP 5,100.00 (€ 6,090.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cedric By Lett von Arthur Lett-Haines wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.109,86) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Arthur Lett-Haines konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli letzten Jahres die Arbeit Italian Landscape für GBP 5.100,00 (€ 6.090,31) versteigert.
