Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Still Life of Flowers On A Table by Arthur Kolnik. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,125.00 (€ 722.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Kolnik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fiddler in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,683.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life of Flowers On A Table von Arthur Kolnik zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 722,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Kolnik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fiddler im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.683,08).
