Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A boy in a red beret by Arthur Kampf was sold in the GERMAN PICTURES, FURNITURE AND WORKS OF ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2001. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 6,462.50 (€ 2,993.15). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Kampf - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bildhauer mit Tonbozzetto (Selbstportrait?), which sold at auction in November last year for EUR 10,080.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A boy in a red beret von Arthur Kampf wurde im März 2001 in der Auktion GERMAN PICTURES, FURNITURE AND WORKS OF ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 6.462,50 (€ 2.993,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Kampf mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bildhauer mit Tonbozzetto (Selbstportrait?) beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für EUR 10.080,00 versteigert wurde.
