Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work German Bandits by Johann Arthur Severin Nikutowski. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,966.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Johann Arthur Severin Nikutowski have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2018 the work »Am Bergisch-Märkischen Bahnhof in Düsseldorf«. was auctioned for EUR 14,190.00.

Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit German Bandits von Johann Arthur Severin Nikutowski zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.966,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
