Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 881.25 (€ 1,422.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Arthur Heyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A family of cats at play in February 2001 with an auction result of GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,363.78).

Die Arbeit A distraction at bedtime von Arthur Heyer kam im September 2001 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 881,25 (€ 1.422,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
