Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of Dorothy Carr Buckland, the artist's daughter, bust-length, in pink and white hat, oval by Arthur Herbert Buckland for GBP 625.00 (€ 746.87). This price was achieved in the auction Victorian and British Impressionist Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Herbert Buckland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peter Pan or The Boy in the Moon, which sold at auction in June 2010 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,432.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of Dorothy Carr Buckland, the artist's daughter, bust-length, in pink and white hat, oval von Arthur Herbert Buckland für GBP 625,00 (€ 746,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Victorian and British Impressionist Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Herbert Buckland mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Peter Pan or The Boy in the Moon beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.432,19) versteigert wurde.
