Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Ploughman by Arthur H. Twells for GBP 480.00 (€ 706.35). This price was achieved in the auction The Irish Sale Part II at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Arthur H. Twells have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2006 by the work At The Coast at GBP 720.00 (€ 1,050.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ploughman von Arthur H. Twells für GBP 480,00 (€ 706,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Irish Sale Part II bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Andere Arbeiten von Arthur H. Twells wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2006 die Arbeit At The Coast mit GBP 720,00 (€ 1.050,97).
