The work Stuffed Birds In A Dome by Arthur H. Davis was sold in the A GREAT BRITISH COLLECTION: The pictures collected by Sir David and Lady Scott, sold to benefit the Finnis Scott Foundation auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 625.00 (€ 755.67). Admittedly, works by Arthur H. Davis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Harvest Evening Round, Near Horsham, Sussex in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 3,240.00 (€ 4,812.15).

Die Arbeit Stuffed Birds In A Dome von Arthur H. Davis wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion A GREAT BRITISH COLLECTION: The pictures collected by Sir David and Lady Scott, sold to benefit the Finnis Scott Foundation bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 625,00 (€ 755,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arthur H. Davis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Harvest Evening Round, Near Horsham, Sussex im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.240,00 (€ 4.812,15).
