In June 2019 Christies in Paris held the auction Icons of Glamour & Style : The Constantiner Collection, which included the work Wendy Whitelaw, Park Avenue, 1981 by Arthur Elgort. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Arthur Elgort have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kate Moss à la Brasserie Lipp, Paris, pour Italian Vogue, septembre 1993 in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.

Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Icons of Glamour & Style : The Constantiner Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wendy Whitelaw, Park Avenue, 1981 von Arthur Elgort zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.000,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arthur Elgort auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kate Moss à la Brasserie Lipp, Paris, pour Italian Vogue, septembre 1993 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
