A top price for Arthur Claude Strachan - as previously expected
In June 2007 Christies in London held the auction British Art on Paper, which included the work Ashton-Under-Hill, Worcestershire by Arthur Claude Strachan. The price achieved of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,698.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ashton-Under-Hill, Worcestershire is the most expensive artwork by Arthur Claude Strachan that we have observed at auctions so far.
