Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Rainbow Trout with hook and line by Arnoud Wydeveld for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,167.47). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Arnoud Wydeveld have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Oysters and Champagne in January this year with an auction result of USD 6,930.00 (€ 6,382.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Rainbow Trout with hook and line von Arnoud Wydeveld für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.167,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arnoud Wydeveld auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Oysters and Champagne im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.930,00 (€ 6.382,39).
