Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Arnold Chang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,248.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Arnold Chang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2020 the work Gazing after Glow was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,667.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Arnold Chang wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.248,62) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Arnold Chang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2020 die Arbeit Gazing after Glow für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.667,35) versteigert.
