Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Il teatrante by Arnaldo Ferraguti was auctioned at Il Ponte in June 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnaldo Ferraguti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dancers in the dressing room in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,367.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Il teatrante von Arnaldo Ferraguti im Juni 2020 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 700,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Ferraguti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dancers in the dressing room im Juli 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.367,43).
