In March 2004 Christies in London held the auction AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES AND WORKS OF ART, which included the work Water lillies on a lake by Armand Apol. It changed hands for a price of GBP 776.75 (€ 1,162.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Other works by Armand Apol have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2006 the work La Danse was auctioned for GBP 960.00 (€ 1,385.55).
