Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Arman Stepanian was sold in the Hurouf: The Art of The Word auction at Sothebys in Doha in December 2010. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,768.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arman Stepanian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Modigliani, 2008, which sold at auction in November 2011 for EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Arman Stepanian wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Hurouf: The Art of The Word bei Sothebys in Doha versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.768,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Arman Stepanian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Modigliani, 2008 beobachtet, die im November 2011 für EUR 8.125,00 versteigert wurde.
