Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work An Aqjangajuk Shaa Sculpture by Aqjangajuk Shaa for USD 76.50 (€ 62.55). This price was achieved in the auction Native American Art Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 250.00 – 450.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aqjangajuk Shaa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work dancing walrus in April this year with an auction result of USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,309.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit An Aqjangajuk Shaa Sculpture von Aqjangajuk Shaa für USD 76,50 (€ 62,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Native American Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 250,00 – 450,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aqjangajuk Shaa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit dancing walrus im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.309,78).
