Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Audrey Hepburn, 1955 by Antony Beauchamp was sold in the Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection, Part III auction at Christies in London in May 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 996.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antony Beauchamp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Audrey Hepburn, 1955 in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,435.83).
