Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2000 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER DRAWINGS - CSK, which included the work A design for a festival gondola (1), and designs for statues depicting the Four Seasons (2) by Antonio Visentini. The price achieved of GBP 940.00 (€ 1,497.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Visentini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Iconografia della Ducal Basilica dell'Evangelista S. Marco. Venice: for the author, 1726. in June 2013 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 33,627.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER DRAWINGS - CSK durch, in der auch die Arbeit A design for a festival gondola (1), and designs for statues depicting the Four Seasons (2) von Antonio Visentini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 940,00 (€ 1.497,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Visentini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Iconografia della Ducal Basilica dell'Evangelista S. Marco. Venice: for the author, 1726. im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 33.627,98).
