In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Three Predella Panels: Saint Francis Of Assisi; The Lamentation; Saint Elizabeth Of Hungary With A Donor sold for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 30,565.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Vázquez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Altarpiece With Scenes From The Life Of The Virgin, which sold at auction in April 2016 for GBP 90,000.00 (€ 115,046.76).
