The »bidding war« ended at USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,961.43), 60% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Ruiz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autorretrato, which sold at auction in June 2021 for USD 47,880.00 (€ 40,411.88).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 19.200,00 (€ 14.961,43) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Ruiz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autorretrato beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für USD 47.880,00 (€ 40.411,88) versteigert wurde.
