Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Un umile pasto by Antonio Rotta was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Rotta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Beim Schuster, which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 25,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Un umile pasto von Antonio Rotta im November 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 10.000,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Rotta mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Beim Schuster beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 25.800,00 versteigert wurde.
