The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,000.00 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio María de Reyna Manescau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Chiesa del Redentore; and Il ponte di Rialto, Venezia in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 35,250.00 (€ 54,523.77).

Die Arbeit Scorcio con gondola e palazzo veneziano von Antonio María de Reyna Manescau wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio María de Reyna Manescau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Chiesa del Redentore; and Il ponte di Rialto, Venezia im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.250,00 (€ 54.523,77).
