Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Antonio Quirós for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,596.07). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Antonio Quirós have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cabeza in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 8,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2014 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Antonio Quirós für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.596,07) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Quirós auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cabeza im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.400,00.
