Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2010 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art, which included the work The Hawking party by Antonio Piotrowski. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,699.98) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Piotrowski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter landscape with a Horse Drawn Carriage, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,552.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Hawking party von Antonio Piotrowski zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.699,98) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Piotrowski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter landscape with a Horse Drawn Carriage beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.552,23) versteigert wurde.
