A top price for António Ole - as previously expected
The work Memória by António Ole was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2017. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,970.81), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 16,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Memória is the most expensive artwork by António Ole that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Memória von António Ole kam im Mai 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.970,81) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 16.000,00 – 20.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Memória das teuerste Kunstwerk von António Ole, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
