The auction ended at the price of EUR 500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 450.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Oberto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sulla riva del Ticino. Sullo sfondo Pavia e il Ponte Vecchio in October 2014 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.

Die Arbeit Novara vista dal Ticino von Antonio Oberto wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 450,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Oberto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sulla riva del Ticino. Sullo sfondo Pavia e il Ponte Vecchio im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
