A top price for Antonio Muñoz Degrain - as previously expected
In June 2011 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work Storytelling In The Harem by Antonio Muñoz Degrain. The price achieved of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 54,485.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Storytelling In The Harem is the most expensive artwork by Antonio Muñoz Degrain that we have observed at auctions so far.
