In December 2017 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters including Old Master & British Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work Saint John The Baptist Preaching In The Wilderness by Antonio Molinari. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,672.71), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Molinari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Convito Di Baldassarre in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 87,150.00.

Im Dezember 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters including Old Master & British Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint John The Baptist Preaching In The Wilderness von Antonio Molinari zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.672,71) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Molinari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Convito Di Baldassarre im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 87.150,00.
