In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction, the work Feeding the pigeons on Giudecca, Santa Maria della Salute beyond sold for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,058.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio María de Reyna Manescau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Chiesa del Redentore; and Il ponte di Rialto, Venezia in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 35,250.00 (€ 54,523.77).
