The work Napoli da Posillipo by Antonio Coppola was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in November 2002. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,968.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,500.00 – 4,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Napoli da Posillipo is the most expensive artwork by Antonio Coppola that we have observed at auctions so far.
