In the Old Masters & British Paintings auction, the work Portrait of a boy, half-length, a chalk pen in his right hand, a landscape beyond changed hands for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,856.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Mercurio Amorosi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Allegory Of Smell in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,044.08).
