This artwork by Anthonie de Lorme achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in April this year. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work A church interior with elegant figures sold for GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,649.87) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthonie de Lorme achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The interior of a Protestant church at night with elegant figures in the foreground in January 2003 with an auction result of USD 339,500.00 (€ 316,137.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anthonie de Lorme erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit A church interior with elegant figures für GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.649,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthonie de Lorme erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The interior of a Protestant church at night with elegant figures in the foreground im Januar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 339.500,00 (€ 316.137,44).
