Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre by Antoni Clavé was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,780.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoni Clavé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Musiciens in February 2005 with an auction result of GBP 187,200.00 (€ 271,463.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Antoni Clavé kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.780,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoni Clavé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Musiciens im Februar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.200,00 (€ 271.463,97).
