A top price for Antón Lamazares - as previously expected
The work Jesús by Antón Lamazares was sold in the ARTE ESPANOL auction at Christies in Madrid in October 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 10,800.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Jesús is the most expensive artwork by Antón Lamazares that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Jesús von Antón Lamazares wurde im Oktober 2005 in der Auktion ARTE ESPANOL bei Christies in Madrid versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 10.800,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
