Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Austrian Still Life With Fruit by Anton Faistauer. The price achieved of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 59,720.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Anton Faistauer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2009 the work Austrian Blumen Stillleben (Still Life With Flowers) was auctioned for GBP 97,250.00 (€ 114,119.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Austrian Still Life With Fruit von Anton Faistauer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 59.720,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Anton Faistauer konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2009 die Arbeit Austrian Blumen Stillleben (Still Life With Flowers) für GBP 97.250,00 (€ 114.119,61) versteigert.
