This artwork by Antoine Montfort achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in February 2011. In the Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings auction, the work Casbah Au Maroc sold for EUR 744.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine Montfort achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view of Nazareth with Camel drivers in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 21,420.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Antoine Montfort erzielte im Februar 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings wurde die Arbeit Casbah Au Maroc für EUR 744,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoine Montfort erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view of Nazareth with Camel drivers im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.420,00.
