Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Iris by Antoine-Germain Bévalet. The price achieved of EUR 1,181.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Antoine-Germain Bévalet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Serpent du Mexique et crocodile du Sénégal in March 2019 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iris von Antoine-Germain Bévalet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.181,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antoine-Germain Bévalet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Serpent du Mexique et crocodile du Sénégal im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
